VTG Antique WW Nurse Blue & White Candy Striper Doll Dress/ Pinafore *Uniform

VINTAGE* POSSIBLY ANTIQUE
WWI / WWII ERA
BLUE “Candy Striper” Nurse Uniform for Dolls
***These items are hand-made & were acquired from a serious doll collector whose family doll collection goes back as far as 150 years. I believe the dress to be from the 1940’s.
Dress appears to be made from a “linen” type material & rather neatly pressed.
The Pinafore is a little softer but reminds me of the material my school uniform was made from when I was younger. The pinafore includes a matching head wrap that may have be fashioned into a hat or head scarf.
MEASUREMENTS
Dress:
~ 10.5 Long
~ 5.75” (Pit to Pit)
Pinafore:
~ 6.5” Long
~ 4” (Laid Flat Across the Waist)
~ 9” (Length of Each Strap)
Head Wrap ~ 15.3” Long
All Buttons are snap Silver Tone Riveted Snap Buttons. There are 2 @ the back of the neck on the dress & 3 on the Pinafore (2 for Straps & 1 for skirt closure)
I am not an expert but I know these items are very old. They are in what I would call GOOD VINTAGE/ ANTIQUE CONDITION. There are no rips, stains or tears, but age is apparent- these items were well cared for, but they were not kept in a hypo attic chamber! PLEASE DO NOT BUY IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR MINT CONDITION. These are EUC!
